With a game that cannot impact what has been a very hard season at Elland Road, some good could still come of this dreary season. News has broke that Leeds could be set to make wholesale changes to their squad for Sunday’s clash against 14th places QPR. One change that has been heavily linked is a debut for young Leeds forward Ryan Edmondson. A young striker who only joined the club in the January that so many youngsters joined the club, Edmondson has been a pivotal part of the Leeds Under 18 side that recently won their respective league. Having scored an excellent hat-trick against Burnley in March, fans have been begging for the 16-year old to be given a chance in a Leeds strike force that is struggling to find any goals. However, Edmondson could only be the start to Leeds’ potential squad refit come Sunday. The emergence of Tom Pearce, Paudie O’Connor and BPF means that Paul Heckingbottom may place his trust in youth for the last game of the season. Calum Nicell has featured on the bench for the senior side recently and could finally be given a chance to shine on the hallowed turf. Another player who has featured on the Leeds bench who could be set for a potential spot is Hugo Diaz, who joined the club from Barça’s youth squad in the summer. Diaz has already made his Leeds debut when coming on as a substitute to replace the injured Pontus Jansson. Others likely to be considered are Bryce Hosannah a right back who joined from Crystal Palace in the summer and another addition from January in former Crewe striker Sam Dalby.
Will you be happy to see these youngsters given their chance on Sunday or would you prefer to see the fringe players given an opportunity to shine? Have you say in the comments below. By Ryan Ingham

It may be over for some off these regulars so why not give our youth the last game.
