After Leeds recorded a win against Barnsley my thoughts turned to the never ending saga that is the takeover of the club.
Yes I know everybody is blaming each other and the protagonists are still confident it can be done in "a short time" but this matter needs to be brought to one conclusion or another.
Ken Bates on his latest interview said "it's not my fault" countering claims from the other side that they are trying 'desperately' to conclude their offer. Patience may be a virtue and if their claims are as good as they say, we could become a team with a fair amount of money and January could be a interesting time
All I'm asking is that both sides are more honest, the money men behind the deal need to become more public and Ken just needs to realise that he's done his bit and he's taken the club as far as his pockets want to.
Either way these two weeks need to bring a end to the speculation and we can throw all our weight behind a team that under the stewardship of Neil Warnock can, I believe get us back into the Premiership this season. He is simply the best manager we've had in a very long time.
