By Keith InghamI wasn't the only one scratching my head when the team was announced and saw no Diouf. He was away seeing an ill member of his family AGAIN, surely no other member of a football team has had as much time off. He certainly is being payed thousands of pounds and probably is gaining air miles aplenty with his constant visits around the world.
I know if I asked for as much time off I would have been told by my bosses I was no longer needed and to find alternative arrangements. The Senegalese front man, no doubt has had many poor moments in his career and seems destined to be in the back of Brian's thoughts as his misfiring and tired looking squad mates struggled through a unproductive festive season. So wouldn't it be better for all concerned to end the agreement with him because the money could and should be used in acquiring additionally team members who will at least be in the managers squad week on week. I have seen the best and worst of Diouf, he's even made me smile when he was sent off for 'juggling' his privates at the Brighton fans. Football indeed needs characters but our team Leeds United needs players who are totally committed to the cause and not only when it suits them. I'm afraid the bromance with Mr Diouf has run it's piece and a divorce is the only sensible thing to do for both parties sake. On On On

Frustratingly I have to agree. It's a shame because the guy has talent but in this league you need balls and commitment. Years ago that's why Wilko bought Vinnie Jones!! Hey ho and happy new year to you and all Leeds fans. xx
