After a wonderful result against the top of the league that gave every fan a lift after a few questionable results, we were back in business. Fans were happy, pints were sank and Cellino was the owner of our dreams.
Inset, a scene much like a 007 film only with Shaun Harvey stroking an old haggard tabby cat called Ken, gleefully enjoying the fact that they've finally got something on our new Italian saviour.
After all the drama us Leeds fans have put up with you'd expect us to be used to it by now. But it's starting to feel like there's a bullseye painted on Elland Road when it comes to the Football League throwing out punishments like a high Ibiza raver throws out shapes, it's not pretty and there's definitely no class.
Cellino now has either 14 days to appeal or 28 days to sever all ties with our club, which is simply impossible. The irksome fact is that in four months the accusations are deemed moot as the conviction is deemed spent by UK law. This means that the Football League are suspending Cellino for the fun of leaving Leeds in the shit, what's the point?!
If it is deemed that tax evasion is a serious infringement in the sport than how can golden boy Lionel Messi coast away from accusations of tax fraud surmounting over £2million? Shouldn't he be banned until the Spanish court has finished his case off? Of course not! He has no ties with Leeds United!
There's also the fact that Carson Yeung is still part owner of Birmingham City yet is currently sat in a jail cell for money laundering. And we can't forget billionaire Roman Abramovich who is not allowed back into his native Russia for fear of arrest? Nope, still okay! Nothing to do with the boys at Elland Road.
I hope this gets to the hands of the football league and Shaun Harvey gets to adjust his glasses before reading how much of a giant twat you are! If you can support a money hiding egomaniac like Bates and then support penniless GFH then why is Cellino such an issue? The guy as he puts it has "payed the bills" since his forceful move in.
Leeds United need time to heal and I fear this situation could only place another nail in our coffin. But their is one thing the twats at the football league can't do and that's stop us supporting our lads week in, week out.
Owner or not, We March On.
