By Keith InghamToday as I look at the calendar I see the transfer window deadline getting closer and fear that unless we receive an influx of money that the squad will be far too small to compete in this tough Championship.
Please before the rants start look at the facts: 1. We could not even fill our squad when the lists were published 2. The boss has said in interviews that "he will have to work with what he has" (Blackpool) 3. Players are leaving the club and not being replaced as there is no money in the pot 4. Paul Green, who looked good in pre- season is out for around eight weeks. 5. Neil Warnock's pre- match Peterborough comments about his squad. The season started with fans being so positive because they thought the takeover was around the corner but as I write nothing from the club or LUST has been forthcoming leaving fans feeling worried that a top six place may already be out of reach. I want to be wrong but something needs to happen NOW and then we can all look forward more positively and I will gladly shut up. On On On

What a shame that Ken Bates, being reviled as he is by the vast majority of Leeds fans, didn't deal with this takeover in a manner that would have regained a shred of respect from the fans. Instead of doing what was best for the club, it has become increasingly clear that he feels he owes our club and its fans nothing at all. If he were to sign on the dotted line tomorrow, it's surely too late for Warnock to begin the process of approaching, negotiating with and signing big names - isn't it? As if we didn't suspect already, Bates seems intent on wringing the most money out of this deal at whatever long-term cost to Leeds and our promotions hopes.

i still think the squad we have with a couple of loans will get us to top 6.. its twice the team we had last year and we have a manager who actually does know what he is doing.. if we get 3 points at the posh.. im certain we wouldve took 6 from 9 before the 3 games were played.. average 2 points a game and we will win the league... yes would be nice to have afew more players but we got to play the hand were dealt.. and worse squads gone up! i have the faith.. Some Leeds fans are still burying their heads in the sand. NW has not got the budget for a promotion push. Ticket prices double Sheffield Wednesday. More money gone out selling players than comming in. Inconsistent strategy in terms of finance and promotion push. NW is very good manager, but will need to work miracles. Need bigger squad. Bates is still chairman. Send him a pen, please!!!

I have send messages but what comes to money he is out of this world. Can't say that this Twitter is just waste of time and energy. My view has been as will be this stern attitude for things to believe in life then family, country and the one thing that makes your heart ticking. The Whites gave me a pleasure of big things in 1970's even though DRs Band of Brothers seeing in Finnish TV and watching the Whites colour beating 1st division opponents. My late Father was there and we always put some bets on.

It is as plain as anything that we have neither the quality nor the quantity for a worthwhile season.
