With the players Neil Warnock has brought in, he has definately made us hard to beat. There is no way Barnsley, Notts Forest or even Birmingham City will come to Elland Road and hit 4 past us again in one game. Im sure of this!
At present if you're talking in an ideal, injury and suspension free world I would easily put our current first 11 down for automatic promotion.
But with Leeds being Leeds, we will more than likely have our fair share of suspensions! So the depth isn't quite there for auto promotion but if the takeover goes through & we get a few bodies in, in January, that may change. At present I would say a play off place is the most realistic place we will finish (although my head keeps saying automatic!)
Diouf is a controversial signing but down the right hand side his crosses & qualities with deadballs will be a god send to Becchio who hasn't had that kind of service in a while. Becchio is most effective in the penalty area, we dont want him by the half way line trying to make things happen like last season and Diouf is the man that can take that pressure away.
To all saying we need another striker: if that doesnt happen we still have Somma who will hopefully return this season, he had a very good record before his serious injury so lets hope he can pick up where he left off when he returns.
