We All Love Leeds head of content Keith Ingham shares his views on the recent sacking of head coach Uwe Rosler.
Twelve games into the 2015/16 season Leeds United FC, through the means of Twitter confirmed that they had parted company with another manager, the fifth person that has occupied the job of Head Coach at the club in the past year or so.
Nobody really should be surprised as in Italy Cellino sacked managers almost weekly. There is a massive problem within the club and it starts at the top, with a unpredictable owner that seems to do at a whim, the unexpected. Really the Football League should look into his continual farcical hiring then firing coaches (They did - Haha! ).
Where does this leave the club ? Well, if rumours are true it will be with a man who said last season he would never work under Cellino, Steve Evans. The larger than life character has been unveiled via Twitter this evening, skipping the pantomime press conference on this occasion.
I feel a little sorry for Uwe, as a few more wins would have seen the club in a more respectable position then the eighteenth place we find ourselves in, with a club record of 11 games at home without a win. Rosler's 'heavy metal' football never happened and sometimes it was more like 'Daniel O'Donnell' football and his continual playing of his 4-3-3 style, even at home, meant that we could only play counter attacking football and teams got wise to it. We never really had a 'plan b' either, the players never looked comfortable with the formation, or so it seemed from the stands. I wish the man well and it seems he definitely left and nothing was 'mutually agreed' meaning another court case may be forthcoming.
I said at the end of last season I needed something 'positive' to happen around the club to keep my support and my money and to a certain extent it did, but with the leaving of Adam Pearson it seems the sorry state the club was in before Pearson arrived is going to happen again very soon, relegation especially with Evans in charge seems a very realistic worry.
I just wish that Massimo Cellino would crawl back from where he sunbathed and leave our once mighty club alone, Billy, Don and Gary must be crying at the state of their beloved club. I know I am.
News Flash: Cellino seen crawling away from the East Stand having been served another spanking from Shaun Harvey (we still don't like him either).
