After two defeats the alarm bells are starting to sound as bad as the performances have been defensively, we are literally down to the bare bones of a small squad. With the added woe of less than 20,000 inside Elland Road on Tuesday it is a clear sign that some fans are showing their displeasure with the current regime by staying away.
The visitors are Nottingham Forest on Saturday, a team with new owners who have shown they are willing to back their manager with a few millions been spent acquiring a number of good signings including Billy Sharp on loan from Southampton.
It has to be hoped Luciano Becchio has recovered from his 'turned' ankle as his strike partner Ross McCormack is probably out for maybe eight weeks. If the Argentinian is ruled out Andy Gray may have the chance to add to his goal on Tuesday with Diouf just behind him. Adam Drury could return after missing the Hull game but Luke Varney's place is under threat after a poor midweek performance.
The games coming up will test the team to the limit but I'm still confident we can win this game.
Prediction: Leeds 2 Nottingham Forest 1
