I sat in my armchair waiting for a 'breaking news' story buy alas it never came. So another window passes without Leeds joining in, it has to be said that our chairman does not like to get his cheque book out and support his manager in these windows. It also leaves the squad pretty light and we wait and see if in a week or so Neil Warnock is allowed to try and get any players in the emergency loan market, where players can sign for a period of 90 days.
It's not all bad news, the emergence of Sam Byram is a big bonus who capped a good few days with a superb goal in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday and it is hoped Dominic Poleon can be given a few games during the season.
The question mark on whether now the market is closed the potential buyers will finally put us out of our misery and remove bates is hopefully sorted sooner than later.
We wait with baited breath.
