Yesterday Leeds put an end to the transfer speculation surrounding Stuart Dallas.
The club secured the Northern Irishman's time at the club by agreeing a new three year deal.
Championship rivals Norwich City were said to be very keen on bringing the winger to Carrow Road but the player has decided to continue his career at Elland Road for the foreseeable future.
Dallas, who has had his critics during his time in Leeds looks finally set to be a big part of the first team picture for Thomas Christiansen, having spent most of his time prior in and out of the match day squad.
The 27 year old now looks set to stay at Leeds and could be as pivotal as a new signing for the club, with a strong preseason behind him and a new found confidence.
Leeds have been ever-present in not only the transfer market but with negotiations to existing players at the club including new deals Gaetano Berardi, Eunan O'Kane and Liam Cooper.
For many fans, this will be the news they have waited all summer for. Dallas is a very good Championship winger with plenty of technical ability and a lot of potential.
Now is the time for the player to step up and be counted as Leeds challenge for higher honours in what could be a tough summer.
What's your opinion? Are you happy that Dallas has extended his deal? Have your say in the comments below.
