LUST revealed yesterday that the takeover was not going to happen, this is the latest in a long of disappointments this man has brought to the club.
The problem was that in the final negotiations he demanded that if Leeds were promoted at the end of the coming season he wanted a slice of the Premiership money as he said that he deserved it for getting a 'improved squad' in the summer and for all the work he has put in since he came to the club.
My problem with this is that nobody has the right to monies that should go to improve the club and I for one cannot understand why questions have not been asked in either Parliament or at the Football League HQ, surely the way he has handled the club should be investigated.
We have lost so many quality players in the last few years and replaced them with players that with no disrespect to them are not 'crowd pleasers' but my hope is that they rise and show myself included that they can take the club to the gates of the Premiership. I think Colin will be dissatisfied with the way the takeover has been handled but I think he is everything we need in a manager to mount a serious challenge in 2012/13.
My hope is that the fans get behind the team and if actions need to be done boycott the club programme and the club shop as we don't need a negative Elland Road, we need a ground that teams don't like to visit.
I honestly believe that this is in the best interests of our beloved club.
