Picture
A trip to Millwall started the season off on a disappointing note. A 2-0 defeat was not the best start to David Hockaday's reign as first team 'coach'
Picture
'Sully' Doukara scored two as Leeds beat Accrington Stanley 2-1. Gaetano Berardi was sent off late in the game for a rash challenge on a Accrington player.
Picture
Billy Sharp signed from Southampton and in his first game grabbed a late winner against Middlesborough at Elland Road. His celebration won't be forgotten as he ripped off his shirt, not bad for a fat lad from Sheffield.
Picture
A bad day at the office as Brighton resplendent in a hideous away shirt claimed three points with a 2-0 win. It was a less than inspiring performance from Leeds. Another bad result on a Tuesday.
Picture
Watford beat Leeds 4-1, it was a even game until Bellusci saw red for a professional foul. There were rumours that Cellino would sack Hockaday after this latest defeat. He didn't but the under fire 'coach' knew the end was near.
Picture
Matt Smith's last goal in a Leeds shirt, he was sold on deadline day to Fulham for around £750,000. Bradford City won the game 2-1 with two late goals.
Picture
The end of the tenure of David Hockaday followed the defeat at Bradford City, the little known former non league manager survived only six games. Massimo Cellino admitted he'd made a mistake in appointing him as 'coach'
Picture
Leeds turned to Neil Redfearn as the search for the next coach began. The likeable Youth team manager took over as caretaker manager.
Picture
Stephen Warnock scored the only goal of the game as Leeds beat Bolton Wanderers 1-0 to begin Neil Redfearn's tenure with a win. Marco SIlvestri kept Bolton out with a stunning double save in injury time.
Picture
Alex Mowatt dedicated this goal to his late grandfather as Leeds came from behind to draw 1-1 with Birmingham City. This was a spirited performance, especially in the second half.
Picture
Giuisseppi Bellusci scored a brilliant free kick in the away win at Bournemouth. Leeds won 3-1 with the other goals coming from 'Sully' Doukara and Mirko Antenucci. The best performance of the season so far.
Picture
Mirko Antenucci grabs his first goal at Elland Road in the 3-0 demolition of near neighbours Huddersfield Town. The other scorers were Rudy Austin and Mirko Antenucci. This game probably was Neil Redfearn's last as caretaker coach. Three wins and a draw was a impressive record while in charge.
Picture
Massimo Cellino amongst the fans for the away trip to Brentford. He was asked to leave later by stewards but the fans enjoyed him being in with them.
Picture
Darko Milanic, the man chosen by Massimo Cellino to replace David Hockaday started his tenure with a 2-0 defeat to Brentford. Here he passes on instructions to Stephen Warnock.
Picture
Alex Mowatt let's fly against Reading but his effort failed to hit the target. The 0-0 stalemate was a improvement on Milanic's team first outing but the lack of chances created was worrying.
Picture
The 'Warrior' sweeps home the equaliser against Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds had trailed to a breakaway goal by the visitors. Antenucci found Westwood in impressive form as the Wednesday keeper denied the home side a win.
Picture
Mirko Antenucci fired Leeds into a first half lead but a second half that offered little and encouraged Rotherham United to come from behind to win 2-1.
Picture
Adyran, pictured with his arms raised got his first chance to impress the fans with a appearance at Norwich City. The youngster had impressed in development games, his pass set up 'Sully' Doukara's equalising goal. A decent result at one of the highly rated teams.
Picture
Mirko Antenucci's impressive form continued with a first half goal at Elland Road versus Wolverhampton Wanderers but another poor second half performance meant another defeat, the 2-1 defeat was Milanic's sixth game without a win since starting the job.
Picture
Dead man walking, Darko Milanic was sacked after thirty two days in the Head Coach's job at Leeds. Massimo Cellino's patience finally went with the Slovakian, he (Cellino) said Milanic had a negative attitude and another watermelon was chucked in the bin.
Picture
Guess who's back, back again. Neil Redfearn became the third Head Coach of Leeds United this season, the Dewsbury born life long supporter will hope that he gets a little longer than his predecessors this season have.
Picture
Youngster Alex Mowatt gets the goal in the 3-1 defeat at Cardiff City. Leeds had again played well in the first half only to be let down by poor defending for two of the goals conceded in the second half. The defeat meant it was seven games without a win.
Picture
Alex Mowatt fired in two brilliant goals in the 2-2 draw with Charlton. The youngster seems back to his best after a disappointing second part of last season.
Picture
Before the Blackpool game, Massimo Celllino joined his players in the minutes silence before the game. Impeccably observed.
Picture
New Dad Mirco Antenucci celebrated the birth of his daughter with a goal versus Blackpool. This was a much needed win.
Picture
'Sully' Doukara followed up his goal against Blackpool with the equaliser versus Norwich City at Carrow Road. A decent result.
Picture
Mirco Antenucci grabbed a 'double' when Leeds surprisingly beat much fancied Derby County. This was good performance from the Whites.
Picture
The Football League replicated the #togetherness throughout the league programme as players paid respect to the soldiers of both sides during the truce on Christmas Day in the 1914-18 war.
Picture
Ross McCormack returned to Elland Road for the first time as Fulham registered a slender 1-0 win. Neil Redfearn bemoaned his players below par performance.
Picture
Billy Sharp, restored to the starting eleven scored a penalty to give Leeds a excellent draw at Nottingham Forest. Leeds deserved the draw but survived two Forest disallowed goals.
Picture
A break from the Championship as the players paid a much anticipated visit to the Leeds General Infirmary. Many children spent Christmas here and the annual visit is a reminder to all that some people aren't as lucky as others.
Picture
A dejected Liam Cooper is left on his backside as Wigan celebrate his 'bizarre' own goal in the 2-0 home defeat to Wigan. This latest defeat sent Leeds even further down the Championship. A worrying New Year awaits.
Picture
The year of 2014 ended as it began with a defeat. The 'toothless' 2-0 at Derby County, the defeat was a stark reminder that this was a year to forget for most supporters.
Picture
Although the Third round of the FA Cup brought a defeat at Sunderland, a much better second half brought some optimism to the travelling fans. Here Liam Cooper is so unlucky his late header hit a post and bounced away.
Picture
Rudy Austin's early goal at Bolton was not enough to claim the three points but the display and performances by Cook, Morison and Murphy impressed me.
Picture
'Re-born' Luke Murphy's late leveller against Birmingham City was just reward for a hard ninety minutes. The ex Crewe Alexander midfielder had been omitted since his sending off at Bradford City but was starting to be a key performer.
Picture
A minutes applause was done in tribute to Leslie Silver, who recently passed away. The former Chairman was the one who signed on Howard Wilkinson and was part of that triumphant period of the club's history. A fitting tribute to a great Chairman.
Picture
Luke Murphy's brilliant goal gave Leeds the three points against table toppers Bournemouth. It gave them the 'double' over Eddie Howe's team. The performance was a massive step in the right direction.
Picture
After coming on as a very late substitute, Billy Sharp scored the winner in the West Yorkshire derby with Huddersfield Town. The 2-1 win made it the first time since the 1930's Leeds had done the 'double' over their local rivals. Below how he celebrated with the ecstatic fans.
Picture
Picture
The first league defeat of 2015 left a bitter taste in the mouth, above Rudy Austin is brought down in the penalty area but the abysmal referee Graham Salisbury denied a clear penalty. He later allowed a debatable hand ball in the build up to Brentford's match winner.
Picture
After the defeat to Brentford many, myself included didn't expect to beat a inform Reading side but Luke Murphy pictured above and Sam Byram below gave Leeds a surprising if very welcome 2-0 win.
Picture
Picture
Alex Mowatt prepares to take the free kick that ended in the net past the Millwall goalkeeper in the narrow 1-0 win over our relegation threatened rivals. Won't miss them if they do go down !
Picture
The future certainly looks bright after these young men established themselves in the first team. Note to Umbers sort out their lengthy new contracts before teams come 'sniffing'. Their appearances have increased since this picture.
Picture
Alex Mowatt 's early goal was enough to beat Championship leaders Middlesborough but the heroics of Marco SIlvestri also made the headlines. Ten saves in the game made him a certainty in the 'Team of the Week'. A virtuoso performance by him and the defence.
Picture
Leeds' impressive start to 2015 ended at Brighton where the home side registered a 2-0 win over a tired looking Leeds team. The away defeat was the first since Derby County.
Picture
A 'nifty' one hundred and fifty goals for Leeds United's Billy Sharp in his career. The striker reclaimed the lone striker role after Morison was injured. Leeds went into a 2-0 early lead but Watford stormed back to win 3-2.
Picture
Billy Sharp again on target as Leeds beat Ipswich Town 2-1 at Elland Road, Alex Mowatt getting the first in a entertaining second half and below Marco Silvestri, after gifting Town a equaliser redeemed himself with his first penalty save in England.
Picture
Picture
Alex Mowatt's fine form continued at Wigan with another goal at Wigan. The youngster's goals have helped Leeds climb away from the lower end of the table. This win virtually guaranteed Championship football next season.
Picture
Five thousand Leeds fans travelled to Wigan and I was there with them. Getting a chance of a 'selfie' with author Gary Edwards was a opportunity not to be missed. Cheers Gary.
Picture
Leeds and Forest both looking like certainties for a mid table finish fought out a entertaining if goalless draw at Elland Road. Over Thirty one thousand fans, Leeds' largest crowd of 2015 witnessed the game. Here Lewis Cook battles with Henri Lansbury.
Picture
Sol Bamba with his first goal for the club against Fulham, this 3-0 victory at Craven Cottage was one of the results of the season. The score although flattered us but as they say 'a win, is a win'
Picture
You could be forgiven if you thought this was a Division Two or Non League pitch, it isn't it's Blackpool's Bloomfield Road on a match day. Incredible you might think but remember who owns them !. Antenucci scored for Leeds in a 1-1 stalemate.
Picture
The 'suspension' of Steve Thompson surprised not only the fans and media but also Neil Redfearn. Just when you think things were going really well at the club, Salerno and Umbers put the proverbial 'spanner in the works'.
Picture
A poignant moment when players and supporters remembered the two Leeds fans who went to see a football game and were murdered in Turkey. Chris and Kevin will never be forgotten. Leeds lost the game 3-0 to Blackburn Rovers and Rudy Austin was sent off.
Picture
My church in two parts. The best photograph I've taken of the famous ground. I call it the Theatre of Hope.
Picture
It's always special when you meet your heroes but these two seem to have tarnished their reputations with events that followed this photograph being taken.
Picture
Charlie Taylor celebrates his first goal for Leeds in the 4-3 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Leeds led 1-0 but Wolves went 3-1 up only for Leeds to equalise with a own goal and a Mowatt screamer. Wolves though won it two minutes from time. A great game but a defeat.
Picture
Kalvin Phillips made his debut at Wolverhampton and scored his first goal at Elland Road. The game though saw another defeat in a less than inspiring performance. The coach lambasted his players after this 2-1 home defeat to Cardiff City
Picture
Jonny Howson opens the scoring in Norwich City's 2-0 win at Elland Road. To his credit he didn't celebrate the goal. Leeds were simply beaten by a better side.
Picture
In a game over shadowed by the non appearance due to 'injury' the 'sick note six'. Six foreign players opted not to travel to Charlton Athletic, in the game Steve Morison scored his first goal for two years in a 2-1 defeat. That made it five defeats in a row after the departure of Steve Thompson, coincidence I think not.
Picture
Two in two for Steve Morison in the 2-1 victory at Hillsborough, Leeds were behind to a Maguire penalty but goals from Taylor and Morison brought the three points back to West Yorkshire. A good day out too.
Picture
Football is special because of the people we meet and our friends we go with. Here is my great friend Sean who I had the pleasure to share the last game of the season with. Purple shirt was a protest on how Cellino has run the club and the sacking of Steve Thompson.
Picture
Steve Evans getting into the holiday mode, after securing Rotherham's Championship future with a earlier win over Reading. He said he'd wear these clothes at Leeds if people wanted him to. Good to see a little humour is still within football.
Picture
"ONE NEIL REDFEARN, THERE'S ONE NEIL REDFEARN" Thanks Neil for all your hard work.
