Leeds United look set to enter the race for Heracles winger Brandley Kuwas.
The Whites were said to be interested in taking the Eredevise winger in the summer, but we’re forced to drop their interest early on.
According to HITC, Heracles were said to quote the Championship side a fee of £3.25million, something Leeds we’re not interested in taking up.
However, Kuwas is now entering the final stages of his contract and could leave the club on a bosman deal at the end of the season, prompting Leeds to reinvest their interest.
The Curacao international had an explosive season last year, picking up 13 assists and 5 goals for the Dutch club and scoring two so far this season.
Predominantly a right winger, who enjoys cutting inside being left footed, Kuwas has similarities to current Leeds loanee Jack Harrison who is the same archetype.
The 26-year old will be available to sign on a pre-contract in January and Leeds may be at the top of a very illustrious list should their interest in his services continue.
Do you think Kuwas could be a good addition? Or should Leeds look to continue their investment in proven Championship players? Have your say in the comments below.
