By Keith Ingham![]() Leeds United today brought in Stoke City reserve player Michael Tonge on an emergency loan deal, after he was left out of their 25 man squad for the 2012/13 season. The 29 year old Manchester born midfielder made 262 appearances for Sheffield and was a favourite of Leeds boss Neil Warnock, but after signing for Stoke City he has struggled to make a impact in the 'Potters' first team. He was loaned out to Preston twice, Derby County and Barnsley and now joins Leeds until December. He has also played for England under 21s twice. It is hoped that his joining the club will help a depleted midfield with Green, Norris and Brown out for a time. I wish him all the best and hope the fans will back him 100% when he crosses the white line in the teams colours. On On On
