Latest rumours suggest that Leeds United could be set to make a move for former Brighton stopper David Stockdale.
This is not the first time the club have courted the stopper, with a move for Stockdale unravelling at the last second last summer.
Stockdale chose a move to Birmingham and has been a mainstay in goal for the Championship strugglers. However, the 32-year old has now been informed he is free to leave the club this summer by former Whites manager Garry Monk.
It is believed that the current wages north of £13k a week could be the reason why Birmingham are said to move him on.
The question remains, if Stockdale is to join; will he be the number 1? In most fans opinion, probably not.
A brilliant keeper with bags of experience, Stockdale would be a great signing for most Championship clubs, but with the emergence of Bailey Peacock-Farrell, is he really needed?
The 21-year old has been a revelation since replacing Felix Wiedwald between the sticks and it would be a shock should he once again lose his place in the squad.
