Leeds United could be set to allow another player to depart the club.
The whites have already allowed 11 players to depart the club through the summer as they look to overhaul the squad for new head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
The latest linked with a move is Eunan O’Kane, who has gained interest from former Leeds United midfielder Lee Bowyer, currently in charge of League One promotion hopefuls Charlton Atheltic.
The Irish midfielder has failed to make a single appearance during preseason under Bielsa and is believed to be one of the players placed out into the cold by Bielsa when he first joined.
O’Kane was one of Leeds’ poorest performers during the past season and regularly became the scapegoat for a poor midfield who could not withstand any pressure when on the ball.
The 28-year old joined Leeds from then promoted Bournemouth after four successful years with the club. However, his two years at Elland Road have be marred by bad form and a competitive midfield core.
O’Kane has spent the summer looking for a potential new club and just like he did when joining Leeds, could be hoping for a deal to be frantically completed on deadline day.
Do you think O’Kane still had a part to play at Leeds? Or is it time he moved on? Have your say in the comments below.
