Leeds are continuing to scout potential wonder kids and have set their sights on another in Josh Eppiah.
According to ESPN, the Whites look set to lock horns with a host of Premier League clubs to sign the talented forward, with noted interest from West Ham and Everton. According to the report, Everton no.2 Craig Shakespeare has recommended the forward to Sam Allardyce having spent time at Leicester City as the Head Coach. Current Football Manager goldmine side RB Leipzig are also keeping an eye on the Belgian strikers progress. Leeds, who are still looking to improve both the senior team and youth ranks are said to be in hot pursuit of the forward as they look to bolster their attacking lines after the questionable injury to Pierre Michel Lassoga and the news of Caleb Ekuban’s latest setback until February 2018. Eppiah is said to be a versatile forward who can play in the centre of the park or as an attacking winger, giving Leeds options as they enter the business part of the season. The 19-year old has made over 25 appearances for the Under 23 Leicester side this season and has a couple of goals and assists to his name along with some brilliant displays. Whether or not this is a non starter or not, it clearly shows that the work on the pitch is not being matched off the green as Leeds continue to look for improvements. By Ryan Ingham
