As reported earlier Leeds have today announced the signing of Caleb Ekuban for an undisclosed fee.
The forward has joined from Serie A side Chievo on a four year contract and is ready to 'feel the love' (his own words) at Elland Road.
Although most fees are now undisclosed, Leeds are said to have paid off the players remaining 12 month contract and it doesn't seem to be a bank breaker.
Ekuban joins Leeds as their sixth first team signing along with new summer signings Vurnon Anita, Mateusz Klich and Felix Wiedwald. The other two being the permanent signings of Hadi Sacko and Pontus Jansson.
But wait, the purse strings haven't been closed yet! The imminent arrival of Samuel Saiz is set to be completed in the next 24 hours having passed his medical earlier on this morning with just a few facets remaining to be agreed.
Leeds will then turn their attention to Egzjan Alioski with the Macedonian winger expected to complete his move prior to Leeds departing for their Austrian tour on Friday.
The winger was left out of his parent club's fixture against AC Milan tonight with the FC Lugano official website stating he is set to complete a move to an 'English club' in the near future.
Things are looking up at Leeds. We needed more firepower, we signed Ekuban. We needed a full back, Vurnon Anita joins. We needed to bolster our squad, six players in and we're on our way!
Sit back and relax as preseason continues with Leeds against North Ferriby, this season is going to be a blast.
