Tell us a bit about yourself:
Im a 50 yr old gas fitter by trade. I live in Kendal Cumbria. Have been a Leeds supporter since start of the 1970's. I'm also a mad thrash metal fan, worship the band Slayer! Goes well supporting Leeds and Slayer, a match made in heaven! Loud and crazy in other words! When I was a kid, all my family were (swear word) football team supporters other side of hills from Yorkshire! It was awful, I hated it, all they went on about was George Best! At that time to me Geoff Boycott was a god, not blooming Geoge Best! First Leeds memory was watching Peter lash Lorimer nearly killing someone with a free kick on Match Of The Day !
What is your favourite memory?
Favorite memory would be hard! If I had to be pushed, it would be watching us win the FA Cup 1972. But beating swear word in FA Cup couple of years back come close. I was sat in local cricket club, two of my mates Leeds fans, and 20 odd you know who fans, there faces were a picture lol.
Favourite player past and present?
Favorite past player, that would be Jack Charlton. Could do with him now! Dave Coleman (god of commentary) used to call him elastic neck!
Favourite current player is Paddy Kenny. He comes across as one of the lads, and is an awesome goalie. I met his mum and dad in Spain when I was on holiday end of August. They are both down to the ground and awesome too!
