I need to moan

I've not written anything for a while, I've been busy with college and I've honestly not had anything to say about the current situation at Leeds. My mom always told me to speak politely or shut up, so mom, I'm sorry.

I've behaved, I've given both NW, the team, David Haigh & co. I've even Ken Bates all the time in the world, I've trusted that things would work out for once for Leeds United.

I can't anymore, I'm furious, I can't believe whats happening to this club I love, it's true we've been a bit of a joke in the first seven years under Master Bates, but the joke has just grown and grown in the past seven months while our supposed takeover has been in the making.

I looked through my tweets recently, words like TOMA, Imminent, Filthy rich, Pen4Ken and others have filled my twitter timeline over the past six/ seven months and I've had it.. We have a saying in Denmark, Piss or get off the toilet - thats the point I'd like to make to GFH, Ken Bates and everyone else involved.. I honestly (almost) dont care if we get taken over anymore, GFH haven't got the money to make us a force anyway (If they did they would have forced this through months ago, right?!), I just want clarity, I just want this take over hell to end.

In my local pub I've noticed that fans of other clubs are starting to pity us instead of taking the usual piss, I dont like that, I like when they take the piss, it proves they miss us and that they're jealous - now they're nothing, we're turning into nothing in many other supporters minds.

It's my birthday on Saturday, what I want the most is for us to smash Palace (happily without Luke "moron" Varney), and second most I want this take over to be finalised or called off. This season is about surviving and then we have to make yet another "fresh
start" from next summer.

Moaning on together! I'll always love you
SuperLeeds but you're making it a bit hard right now

Your piece sums up my thoughts exactly.
The club in my eyes, have never been at such a low point. Yes we have been in a lower league, but at least then we had togetherness, and that old 'Wise' spirit.
Bates and his 'management' team have unfortunately alienated the supportres to such a degree that the link has been broken. I haven't been this season, and the worst bit .... I actually don't care.
Yes, I want to come back, and I will in time, but I will not support a regime in it's current format.

Spot on! Bates has put us through enough now. It's my birthday on Saturday too and I'll be at the game but for the first time in years I don't feel we've even got a hope in hell of beating a team like palace. The current crop of misfits and soldiers would have sufficed had we had a little bit of pace and creativity spattered around too but we've nothing. He seems reluctant to play White, which I suppose is understandable after some of his performances this season, however if he's not given a bit of stability with a decent run in the team how is he going to build confidence? I don't go to ER half as much as I used to and that's purely because I don't want to give money to Bates. I, like most other supporters (Larry's face said it all at the weekend) am feeling dejected and depressed about what this great club has become. To have this great club dragged through the mud by a man with no passion for the club, whose only interest seems to be to drag a takeover out long enough to miss the January window as a parting blow to the the fans, is too upsetting for words. Almost lost for words how a club with such enormous potential finds itself where it is. Leeds is a "one horse town" in terms of football and ER would be packed to capacity if it had PL football and a chairman who cared about the team. I understand those who stay away; I don't go because I can't afford it but I do care about our club and just hope that one day, just one day the club is owned by people with the same mindset who want her back where she belongs. Sorry to sound so depressed but I am.

My beloved club is bleeding badly right now, and no amount of bandages will fix it, fully expecting Warnock to walk if this takeover doesn’t happen, its either they don’t have the money, or Bates is asking the impossible, or probably a combination of both, and I believe Ken Bates is really trying to kill the club as his final swan song remember he said (and I quote)

"I shall not rest until Leeds United are kicked out of the football league. There fans are the scum of the Earth, absolute animals and a disgrace. I will do everything in my power to make this happen"

Well it looks like he may well have his wish, and he certainly has the power as he is the owner, with Leeds its an old strategy of divide and conquer (which he certainly has done on the divide bit) and conquer, look at the track record -25 points in total points deduction, administration, legal battles costing MIllions, liable and slander court cases with former directors 3 years in league 1 and if we went into administration again we really would be in trouble, don't even think it cant happen again IT CAN and we probably be demoted to league 2, then lets string them (the fans) along for months, eventually sell the club to a group who couldn’t care less about the team, just cream as much money off the club as I can, before I sell, asset strip and sell the best players and make the fans pay top dollar, sounds familiar yep, that’s the conquer bit.
