Fly me to the moon

So we have the real reason Ken Bates was asked to leave his position as club president or in another way sacked by GFH, he apparently tied the club to a contract costing around £500,000 to fly him backwards and forwards from his Monaco villa.

It must be really nice to be able to spend the money me and other fans put into the club on an annual basis. We've had a long line of his 'personal' ways of getting money, though he swears he never took a penny out during his eight and a half years at the club.

Court cases, club season ticket monies for the next few seasons to pay for the redeveloping of the East Stand while the team on the pitch was decimated, there will be more but a clever man covers his tracks. I never saw him as a saviour he just seemed to be a bully and with this last (hopefully) mention of his name I really do hope that he leaves the club alone and stays in his villa with his Mrs. The trouble with Ken is you never quite know his next move !

The Chelsea's finally gone from Leeds.

Kenneth William Bates is an odious man. The only person he has any time for is himself and the only thing that concerns him is his bank balance. He used LUFC as a tool to do just that and I am very pleased to see the back of him.

£500k that could be put into the non existent transfer kitty.

Expect more stories of the self acclaimed Leeds United saviour in the coming months. Hope this will finally dispel any ideas that few fans still have that he saved our club.

Not sure what the court case will cost when he sues but it may be good money well spent just to get rid of him forever.

Still can't see any other type of man that could have , bullied , manipulaed and been so bloody minded to push the club out of being 30 million in debt , yes he obviuosly had his own agenda but business is business to the kens of this world ,, so for stepping in and turning the club around he does deserve some recognition , after that unfortunatley we just saw a greedy old man , a game of two halves !!!!

It's fans like you that kept him at the club. How anyone could trust this man is beyond me. He did not save Leeds, He did some neat card tricks and a couple of dodgey shuffles, I will give you that.
He took us into admin gained us -15 points and has been using the club like a pimp touting his whore, letting her and her clients take the cost of any punishment dished out by the inept and weak authorities, battering and abusing her in a constant barrage of brutal attacks on her heart and soul.
While he lived the life of Riley and continues to do so...he's a tax evader to add to all his vileness, something which should bar him from taking any legal action in this country until he pays up.

Court case or not but we needed to get rid of KB for sure. It is matter of small prints in the buying contract (for GFHC) that can build this legal case. Hopefully their lawyers has been worth for the money. Otherwise it would be just nice to concentrate to the Whites football at last.

LUFC XI to Ireland next and this is the rallying call for the youngsters in the McD reckoning bar RA. I have big hopes for Chris Dawson to make the next step and involved in the 1st team squad occasionally and cement his position eventually. Some say that he is a little lightweight fair enough that can be handled with proper training gradually.

His playing attributes and attitude are in top class. Confidence comes when you are playing regularly in the 1st team.

Hot Sunday thinking,

Tare
