A message from Angus: “Today Leeds United will officially be crowed champions of the Football League. This is a momentous occasion and one that we’ve dreamt of for 16 long years.
But we must consider the health of people in our community before we celebrate- the fight against Covid-19 is not over yet.
We appreciate the support of fans, as always, and it is heart-breaking that we can’t encourage the kind of scenes we all know we should seeing be under different circumstances.
However, people must consider the negative impact coming out could have on others. The trophy lift will be live on our social channels and Sky Sports News for fans to see and I promise that when the time is right, we will celebrate in style. For now, support Leeds, stay at home.”
A superb article by BBC Radio Leeds commentator Adam Pope on how Marcelo Bielsa turned Leeds into Champions.

Leeds United 4 Charlton Athletic 0: Ben White nets scorcher as champions produce fireworks in season finale | Yorkshire Evening Post
Thanks to the YEP.
White(his first goal for Leeds), Dallas, Roberts and Shackleton see off sorry Charlton.
Man of the Match: Pascal Struijk, impressive display in only his second Championship start for the first team.
Marcelo Bielsa’s post match conference was cancelled due to the Head Coach being involved in the presentation of the Championship Trophy.
Lee Bowyer: “We'll have to see what happens in the summer, there’s a hell of a lot of things that I've not been happy with. More things recently have happened which have made me even more unhappy. But I love the club and, like I said, I've been loyal and I gave my all.
"I don't think it's the right time to talk about whether other clubs will be interested in myself. I've been loyal, I know that. I've definitely been loyal. I could have left on more than one occasion and I'm glad I stayed.
"I'm not happy. We're relegated and I've just said to the players it's not because of tonight's game. We should have been safe before we even came here tonight, but we weren't and I'm disappointed obviously. Getting relegated. It's never a nice thing to happen. I'm not in a good place at the moment."
Highlights and Trophy presentation.
Leeds v Charlton Athletic
Championship trophy celebrations.
West Brom dramatically claim the second promotion place in the Championship after a 2-2 draw with QPR. Brentford could have claimed promotion but surprisingly lost 2-1 to Barnsley, the win keeps the South Yorkshire club up and sends Wigan down with Charlton and Hull City.
Wigan are still to appeal over the deduction of 12 points handed to them by the EFL for going into administration.
David Watkins on the very satisfying 4-0 win over now relegated Charlton. Plenty to be impressed with, Ben White’s first, promising displays from Poveda, Struijk and Shackleton and finally he gets to finish his long, long wait to see Leeds promoted.

Illan Meslier completes permanent transfer to Leeds. The official site said: “Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
The French goalkeeper initially joined the club last summer on a season-long loan deal from FC Lorient and the move to Elland Road has now been made permanent.
Meslier has signed a three-year deal with Leeds United, running until the summer of 2023.
The 20-year-old made 11 appearances in all competitions for the Whites during the 2019/20 campaign, helping Leeds to win the Sky Bet Championship.
He made his Leeds debut in January’s FA Cup third round tie with Arsenal, before making his league debut away at Hull City in February. In his 10 Championship games for the Whites, Meslier has been very impressive between the sticks, helping Marcelo Bielsa’s side keep seven clean sheets.”
Meslier follows Helder Costa as Leeds’ second signing of the summer.
Carlos Corberan joins Huddersfield Town as their Head Coach. The Spaniard penned an emotional open letter to his former club Leeds.
The Championship Playoff semi finals. Sunday 26th Swansea v Brentford. Monday 27th Cardiff v Fulham. Second legs 29th and 30th of July. The final at Wembley will be played on the 4th of August.
Aren’t we all glad that our business is done for this season.
Stuart Dallas is the Players' Player of the Year: "I didn't expect it to be honest. You say it's the one everyone wants to win but for me it's not about that. Without them it's not possible, it's a team game. What we've achieved is unbelievable. This is for everybody, not just me."
Stuart Dallas proudly holds the trophy with his teammates.
