With the unfortunate news that Tyler Denton has returned to the club for family reasons, could there be a silver lining for Leeds?
Denton had been on a season long loan at Port Vale but the club have confirmed today that he has returned to the club due to family reasons.
The young left back is now set to return to the senior team when he reports back from training, a hint at what the season could hold for the defender.
With the unconvincing form of the on loan full back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and the news he is likely to return to parent club Manchester United, there’s a space free is the full back ranks for the returning Denton.
Many fans have been impressed by the youngster, who was expected to feature heavily under head coach Thomas Christiansen prior to the arrival of CBJ.
Now that he has returned and with Leeds looking at a very tough fixture list, this could be the perfect opportunity to give Denton a go, just like the club had done with players like Sam Byram, Charlie Taylor and Lewis Cook.
Would you like to see Denton feature for Leeds? Or would you prefer him back on loan when he’s resolved his family troubles? Have your say in the comments below.
