Editor-in-Chief Ryan Ingham takes a look at the emergence in form of eccentric Italian centre back Giuseppe Bellusci.
After watching a few videos of our recent games against Cardiff and Huddersfield I've noticed one player has really stepped up to the plate and delivered, Giuseppe Bellusci. The eccentric Italian centre back, self proclaimed the warrior, has definitely won some battles in the past few matches and it just might seem that the partnership of Bamba and Cooper could well be over. Bellusci was said to be in a minor exodus since Rosler took charge and had an absolute shocker against Middlesborough, having a clanger in the opener and then scoring one of the best and most exquisite own goals I've ever seen. Now, it seems that Evans has given Bellusci an opportunity to win his place back and his recent performances have shown that he really does deserve his place in the centre. His awareness on the ball and positioning at times can be second to none and he's never afraid to put a challenge in, something I'll never moan about. Simply put, an in form Bellusci is definitely someone you want available as we head into the Christmas period. By Ryan Ingham
