Leeds United rounded off a fantastic week by beating Bristol in a pulsating five goal thriller. It's been a long time since we've won three on the bounce and the entire squad deserve credit for their efforts.
We welcomed back Paddy Kenny and Lee Peltier for the game, otherwise the players who did so well in midweek v Everton kept their places.
The game was evenly balanced throughout the first half with only half chances created but none taken. The second though was end to end and El Hadji Diouf finished well at the back post on 64 minutes after a great cross from Sam Byram.
Leeds looked to increase their lead but Adomah scored with a diving header and for a time Bristol drove forward searching for the lead, but the man of the moment Diouf scored with less than ten minutes left. It was to get better for the away side when Michael Tonge picked up the ball and hit a 'screamer' from twenty five yards to make it 3-1. With minutes remaining a corner was sent past Kenny via a Leeds defender but Leeds held on to record another victory at Ashton Gate.
Leeds travel to Bolton on Tuesday and will hopefully continue this impressive run. It's incredible after two negative results that the side has shown so much character and pushed them closer to a top six place.
Man of the Match: El Hadji Diouf but Sam Byram was very close to being named.
Fans 8/10. Great support
To the proposed buyers: Back Neil Warnock and his team they won't let you down.
