By Keith Ingham![]() Leeds made changes with Tonge starting his first game, White and Byram coming in with Diouf dropping to the bench. But it was another visit to the welsh capital and yet another defeat, even worse was a bad ankle injury to Ross McCormack, which looks like it could keep him out of the side until after the next international break. With the injuries piling up some monies must be made available to Neil Warnock to bring in a few loan players or this season could be a uphill it struggle. So come on Ken cough up ! Leeds started well, stifled the hosts and had chances to score in a fairly even first half. The Cardiff boss said after the game he had 'read the riot act' at half time and it had the desired effect as their first substitute, Bellamy scored with a delightful free kick then they were awarded a debatable penalty, for a foul given against Lees which was despatched confidently by Whittingham. Leeds though as in other matches this season never gave up and Austin scored a superb free kick to make it 2-1 and in the last ten minutes had a couple of chances to level matters, especially Lee Peltier who headed over with only minutes to go. Man of the Match: Paddy Kenny, couldn't be faulted for the goals and made some important saves. On On On

We can't blame Bates for this defeat. Why do we have midfielders when we keep hitting the ball long over the top of them? Doesn't make sense. Becchio hardly won a ball in the air and resorted to dirty play in the end. The game plan did not work and should have been changed when it's failure became evident.

nicky maynard dived twice once to get a free kick and once to get a penalty thats all that can be said.

Ken can't cough up any money for loan or anything else.. From the research that LUST have carried it seems that LUFC and all its subsiduries just about break even and have taken on agreements, which will preclude ticket revenue being spent on the squad. It looks like a very tangled web of organisations that are undermining the core business of football. No money, no hope unless Ken goes. Fans continue to support the current regime att he turnstils, so here we are and here we will stay!
