Ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Notting Forest, Keith Ingham spoke to Garry Housley.
How long have you supported Nottingham Forest and why did you chose them as your team.
Ive supported them all my life my first game was wolves at home in 1978 season and I’ve had a season ticket for over 20 yrs my grandad was born in Nottingham and his family from there.
What’s your favourite moment as a Forest fan. Season, game or anything other occasion. As we’ve spoke before please think of one that was extra special.
A recent favourite was The game away against the sheep at pride park when Ben Osborn scored the winner in the 90th odd minute to beat them 2-1 was special obviously to beat them but was also the season Stuart Pearce was manager and he was under pressure and could of lost his job then, he didn’t last much longer but the reactions after where unbelievable
Tell us about a player that you were proud to have on the back of a shirt, if you didn’t is there one you wished you would have.
Stan collymore one of the best strikers ever to play for us plus the obvious Stuart Pearce =legend
What’s your most memorable match playing Leeds. (Not the 7-3 at Elland Road!)
Haha spoilsport, the game on Boxing Day a few years ago when we won 4-2. Billy Sharp got a couple and we was a point outside play offs under O’Driscoll and our owner at time fawaz decided to sacked him and replace him with Alex Mcleish!! That’s were all started to go wrong! Recent game would be the last one where Kemar roofe did his maradona impression!
Are you happy with your dealings in this summer’s transfer market. If not why?
Yes with the vast majority of them We spent probably the most in championship this summer and paid over 13m for carvalho He is quality, also grabban,Robinson yacob Michael Dawson, Colback has been superb too.
What’s your realistic aim for the season?
For the money we have spent play offs should be minimum
Who in your mind is going to be promoted this season?
I think personally will be leeds and Norwich top 2 and I’m hoping for us in play offs
Can you name your three for relegation this year?
Ipswich,Rotherham and Bolton
Who’s your danger man?
Can you tell us about a rising star in the youth ranks?
17yr old Arvin appiah he’s rapid, been training with 1st team for a while now been on the bench a few times and wouldnt surprise me if makes his 1st team debut shortly could even be against you boys he’s making himself know on the England scene also.
Prediction and scorers for the game?
