Leeds United's move for Kieran Agard fell through today after the club and player failed to agree personal terms.
Leeds on Thursday agreed a fee in the region of £1m for the Rotherham winger and Agard travelled to Leeds on this morning.
Agard's agent Lee Payne of Full Contact told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “We just haven’t been able to agree personal terms. Leeds were hopeful of getting him signed in time to play (against Middlesbrough) tomorrow but they were keeping their offer within a budget and we couldn’t agree to it.”
United owener Massimo Cellino also confirmed the deal was off to the YEP and accused the 24-year old of having "bad attitude."
Agard was poised to become the clubs 11th summer signing after both clubs agreed a fee and Agard missed training with the South Yorkshire Club to hold talks with the Whites but the deal is now 100% Off.
